Join the APS Northern Beaches Group for a guided visit to the Daniel Solander Library, established in 1852 and home to over 250,000 books, manuscripts, maps, photographs, and botanical illustrations. The guided tour will take approximately one hour and offers a fascinating insight into Australia’s botanical and historical collections.
Please meet in the foyer of the Brown Building at 10:20 am, ready for a 10:30 am start. The Brown Building is a modern building located on the left-hand side when travelling down Mrs Macquaries Road. It is the second building past the stone gate entrance into the Gardens, marked Gate S, with a ramp sloping down from the street to the entrance.
Following the tour, members are invited to enjoy lunch together at the Farm Cove Eatery.
