District Group Information

The Australian Plants Society has always been a grass roots organisation, with local on-the-ground knowledge, skills and insights creating generational shifts in thinking about Australian plants. 

Nowadays, we have 19 active groups around the state, each meeting regularly, continuing the tradition of sharing about Australian plants, contributing to community and growing plants in their own gardens. 

We also have many members who participate remotely, through Facebook, journals or the website, sometimes attending quarterly or other events as suits their lifestyles and where they live. We welcome all forms of participation.
