  • 7 Aug 2025
  • 7:00 PM
  • Stony Range Regional Botanic Garden, Dee Why

Join the APS Northern Beaches Group for engaging presentation on ‘The Wildflower Project’.

In 2024 the Northern Beaches Council launched ‘The Wildflower Project’. An initiative to support volunteers who wish to rewild areas of Council-owned public land with meadows of low growing native wildflowers and grasses.

Pic Andrews, an Environmental Volunteers field officer who has been coordinating the project, will come and speak about its vision and the journey so far.

She will give you a detailed look at the first 4 Wildflower sites, the new Wildflower nursery group, the plants chosen, propagation, and the things they have learnt along the way.
