Join the APS Northern Beaches Group Meeting for an evening of botanical discovery and exploration at the tranquil Stony Range Regional Botanic Garden, Dee Why.
The event begins with a focus on the Eriocaulaceae plant family, offering insights into these often-overlooked yet ecologically significant native species. Following this, Penny Hunstead will take us on a visual and narrative journey through the vast and rugged landscapes of Outback South Australia, sharing the unique flora, geology, and untamed beauty of this remote region.
More than just a meeting, this gathering is an opportunity to connect with like-minded nature enthusiasts, exchange knowledge, and deepen our appreciation for Australia’s diverse plant life. Supper, provided by Georgine & Jane, offers a chance for relaxed conversation to round out the evening. Thursday February 6, 2025
