About the Walks & talks Hear a talk by members of the North Shore group of the Australian Plants Society then be guided on a walk in the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden to see and learn about our focus species as they come into flower. All welcome. No prior knowledge is required and information sheets are provided.
Term 2 - Winter (most sessions in terms 2-4 include talk and walk) Mondays as follows: May 22 Banksia (Family Proteaceae)
May 29 Pollination and seed dispersal
June 5 Flowers to fruit
June 19 Lilies, orchids etc
June 26 Walk only: KWG Perimeter Trail to Showground, return 2:30pm
Meet at 9.45am at Caley's Pavilion in KWG. Sessions run for about 2 hours, unless a later return time is indicated. No bookings necessary. Sessions are free.

Walks are easy / medium. Wear a hat, suitable footwear and bring water / snack. Also consider sunscreen and insect repellent.
