Harbour Georges River - Launch & memorial tree planting

This will be the official launch of the group's new name, Harbour Georges River, and a time to reminisce about its precursor, East Hills Group. 

The group will also pay tribute to some senior EHG members who recently died – Hugh Stacy, Kyrill Taylor and Graham and Margaret Walters. With the assistance of the Garden’s horticulturist, Jim Mackay, three rainforest trees will be planted in their memory.  Hugh and Kyrill were life members of APS NSW and the Walters were members of East Hills Group from 1964; Graham held many positions in our group.

All APS members are warmly invited. It will be a morning gathering with the option of bringing your own picnic lunch to enjoy in the Garden.
