The Challenger Trail is a 1.5km walk one way and is classed as an easy walk with a few loose stones in places. The flowers are absolutely stunning in July, the Boronia are in bloom and other flowers include Zieria laevigata, Darwinia fascicularis, Dillwynia retorta, Eriostemon australasius and many more. Towards the end of the the walk you enter a lightly wooded area with a rocky outcrop and views over Broken Bay and the Hawkesbury River.
Meet at the start of the Challenger Trail, 9.5km from the park entry on West Head Road. It is after the America Bay Track and before the Basin Trail.
