CANCELLED Allan and Merilyn House make an annual pilgrimage to OʼBriens and Agate Creeks, south west of Cairns, to fossick for topaz, agate, crystal geodes and thunder eggs. They also photograph the local flora and fauna. They will talk about fossicking and flora in the area as well as the Undarra Lava Tubes and Cape York. They will bring some gemstones found including a blue topaz and a 30 kg crystal geode.
We have native plants for sale from Ausplants Nursery, books to borrow, plant identification, plant raffle, a free supper – and friendly people to chat with.
