North Shore Walks and Talks on Flowers to fruits and seeds

Be guided by members of the North Shore Group of the Australian Plants Society to learn about our wonderful native plants. No booking needed – just turn up at Caley Pavilion at 9.45 am for a 10.00 am start on any of the dates below. All sessions will finish at about 12.30 pm. There is a fee of $5 per person, discounted to $2 for Australian Plant Society members. (The ‘Walk Only’ sessions are free.) 


All talks have an ID focus. No prior knowledge is required and information sheets will be provided.

All walks are easy. For the walks please wear a hat, have suitable footwear and bring water. Sunscreen and insect repellent would also be a good idea.

Important update:

In Term 2 there will be three ‘Walk Only’ sessions.

It is essential to book your place by the Saturday prior to the walk.

• Each walking group will contain no more than 10 people.

• Social distancing will be maintained as per NSW advice.

• All walks are easy. All sessions will run 10 am to 11.30 am.

• Please wear a hat, have suitable footwear and bring water.

• Sunscreen and insect repellent would also be a good idea.
