Ground Cover Profiles

Ground covers are generally under 1 metre and can be prostrate, dwarf or herbaceous plants. They provide the lower level of the garden, and fill in between the shrubs and trees

Ground covers have many benefits:

  • Become a living mulch to protect against water loss and preventing weeds
  • Creating habitat for critters
  • Creating contrasting textures, colours and forms in the garden
  • Providing attractive flowers and foliage
